Our wines are made on Kaurna Yarta in Mclaren Vale, South Australia. Lying between the sea and the Adelaide Hills, there is something special about this place and it's weathered, ancient soils. There is a real beauty in the way the sun beats down on the vines during long, hot summers and in the way the ocean air comes to soothe them at night. If our wines can somehow mirror our years spent here, no matter the 'style' that arises, we are content.

Fari means 'to make' in Sicilian dialect. We first visited Sicily while studying winemaking together and have since worked two harvests in Vittoria, a place with a striking resemblance to home. It was here that we first learnt the importance of slowing to savour the simplest of pleasures in life. The Sicilian approach to showcasing produce, including grapes as wine, is faithfully uncomplicated. Sicily helped us to discover our shared philosophy that uncomplicated yet attentive winemaking can produce the purest expression of home and the land that we are privileged to work on.
